What the Bass Girls Wore this Sunday

On this week’s episode of “What We Wore Sunday”

I told Ruthie she couldn’t squat for the picture. Scott was off to get the van because he had to park a few miles away. The coffee and donut crowd from the 10 am Mass was being quite leisurely (I guess they were suffering from a Daylight Savings Time hangover too) and there was not a spot to be had in the parking lot for the 11:30 am Mass.

Ruthie: Headband is from Janie and Jack, dress is from Gap, and sandals are Salties.

Rosie: Bow was a gift from my kind sister-in-law (she sent us a whole box full of beautiful bows!), dress is Gap, sandals are Salties.

Wren: Dress is Mini Boden (a gift from my generous grandmother), sandals are Salties.

Rhea: Bonnet is from Briar Handmade, romper is a hand-me-down from my (now 15 year old) cousin from that time when Talbot’s had baby clothing, knee socks are her old standby from Hubble and Duke, moccs are Freshly Picked.

I am wearing a dress that is clearly too small from a few babies ago, but I am so tired of buying a whole new wardrobe every time I have a baby so I hope I didn’t scandalize too many innocent church goers.

The moment when the trouble started.

Then, everyone followed suit, and I had to restore order in the ranks.

I guess you are no longer wondering who my strong-willed child is.

The debonair gentleman to the right is my dad. Catholic convert extraordinaire, and expert Mass baby wrangler.  And no, I inherited none of his coolness. My kids are pretty cool, though.

Linking up with Rosie again at A Blog for my Mom. Hop on over for more What I Wore Sunday posts.

You all look so pretty! I’ve got 4 girls too but they are spread out and I never got the joy of dressing them all at the same time. What a gift! The relationships between Mother and Daughters is so fun and gets better every year!

Thank you! Give it time! I have heard that MN is gorgeous in the spring and summer.

Again, all the heart eyes! I love how long the dresses are on your girls. Dresses are often way too short on my girls, maybe I’m not shopping at the right stores.

I just size up! They are both in size 5s. It works well with dresses. Pants and shorts, not so much.

Ah, thank goodness for parents who help wrangle babies during Mass! I had a dress a couple years ago that I was convinced still fit after I had the twins, only to spend the entirety of one Mass trying to pull it back down over my Spanx 🙁 I’m convinced it just shrank! Thankfully Jesus doesn’t care about any wardrobe malfunctions 😉

I don’t know what we would do without him and my mom (not pictured, I should sneak her in there next week)
